donutI won’t eat it, I promise. Well, sometimes you just want a little bite eventhough you know better. Who wouldn’t want a bite of delicious fried dough covered with chocolate frosting? We all have temptations every single day and they will always be there. If you want to be successful in living a healthier lifestyle, then you have to change your mindset to stay strong.

It’s not worth it, really! OK, if you give in to temptation you may be satisfying your sweet tooth but you will hate yourself for being so weak. Think about the calories, think about the cholesterol, think about the extra pounds, just walk away and be strong. Do it for yourself!

If you have written down your goals, then go back and read them to give you the motivation to continue on your journey of health. Remember that your ultimate goal will help you stay focused so read it everyday until it becomes part of your subconcious. This will definitely help you stay on track when temptations occur.

Replace the bad with the good. Eating healthy snacks like celery and almond butter or a juicy apple, will help you avoid the cravings for fried goodies. If you must indulge, then go ahead and reward yourself but always remember to make smart choices. Try making your own trail mix with your favorite nuts, dried fruit and maybe a little coconut. Go ahead and get creative because your body deserves much better than a donut.
